The Teacher's Corner Resources Super Bowl Commercials Grades 4-12
Students watch and then discuss the ads. Prior to the big game, encourage your students to watch the commercials and be ready to discuss them the next day. You may also want to give them specific things to watch for or note. On the Monday after the Super Bowl you and your class can visit the Super Bowl Commercial web site. You can get a number of great discussions going about the various ads that were shown during the game. Depending on the age of your students, you can make this a part of an entire unit on advertising and persuasion.

  • Have students create their own fun facts about their school, city, state, family, etc.
