All-Year-Round Activities

The activities and resources within this section can be used throughout the school year. Find fun and easy activities that you can do with your Book Buddy class. These seasonal activities will help you integrate various activities into your daily curriculum. "Day Before" Activities Grades Various
On special days just before a holiday (such as Valentine’s Day) when students are harder to keep focused, I make up colored worksheets that are fun or can be used as a contest. Students know that when they see the colors, they will be having some fun while learning. I place these sheets randomly with my others. If students get too noisy, I just put one of the colored papers back on my desk. So far, it has always worked to get everyone back on task and students love the activities.
